Hey folks I just got a wavy sea today and I got to tell you this thing kicks serious butt. I modded a Tunze 6080 so that I can hook it up to the unit and this is some crazy flow now. Its so much that iam getting sand storms in my tank from one side of the tank to the other. Here is a video of the unit working. The pump is not one yet but I have to say that this can easily handle it. I've been running the pump for about 1.5 hrs now and its still going strong. Here is a vid of the unit moving and how fast it moves. Warning its 5.5mb so not dial-up freindly. Hope you enjoy.

man you barely bought that thing yesterday and you already modded it ....it looks good. take a video of the whole tank.

Hey I told you as was going to do it. I actuly had to only mod the tunze holder and drill two small hole on the MJ adapter and that was it. Let me see if I can i have alot of wire in the front of the tank. But I will try.

hows the back pressure on the wavysea? man that makes me want to go buy a tunze now:D thats way to much flow for my small tank thpugh. cant wait to see how the wavysea holds up.

well so far its doing great. Not alot of back presure that I can tell since its as close as possible to the motor there is not less pressure on the motor. But I guess we will have to see what happens.

here you go Ben disregard the date on the pics

not only that but I just pulled out 4 seios out of my tank and replaced them with just the tunze and I have more flow then before.

that is one sick mod....Can you please give some detail on how you did it ....im a lil slow...lol

did the people from wavy sea say that it should be ok, using the tunze..

if i am not mistaken he is only using the wavy sea to rotate the tunze...

he attached the tunze to the rotating device on the wavy sea and is not using the wavy sea to output water, only used for rotating...
