I've been having issues with tank stability for some time now. I really don't like dosing 2 part so I decided to go back to a Calicum reactor. I pick up a new Korallin C4002 Reactor. To say the least it's a bit over sized for my system but it leaves me with plenty of space to expand in the future. Hopefully I can get her up and running next weekend.

Well its about time. Maybe once you get some stability in your tank I can finally get that frag of a manatee from you. I have been waiting forever

Good luck, enjoy it!

And thank you!

I was all ready to get the reactor up and running last night but come to find out the CO2 tank I have is dead empty and in need of testing, needless to say it's scrap metal. Hopefully I can get a new bottle Tuesday and get her fired up.

They are cheep to rent. Then you don't have to worry about testing. I got a quote from aero all gas in hartford for I think $20/bottle.

I'm hoping to get one from a hydroponic shop in Canterbury. The one I have is an oversized paperweight.

Question- In the instructions it says I can use gravity/ siphon or a small pump to feed the reactor. I have an aqua lifter pump, can that be used to feed the reactor?

No not yet. I had a large ALK spike due to me running my Kalk stirrer too much last week. It shot up to 12.5 dkh.... But I have it back down to 7.4 dkh as of last night. I also want to install a ph probe in my reactor before I run it. I bought a fitting threw Granger for it but I still need to drill and tap the lid to install it. Also the ph probe I had picked up from a fellow reefer is no good. I tried to calibrate it but it's totally shot. Anyone have an extra used ph probe sitting around they want to get rid of?
I'm itchin to get this running but it's been hard to find any free time to do so. Soon, hopefully soon

I do have a ph probe with your name on it. Free if you pick it up
