...just think of all the fun things we can gawk (or gag) over. BTW, skimmate is nasty stuff! No wonder we want it out of our tanks!!! Has a video feed that I haven't figured out how to use quite yet...that's tomorrow's project!!!

OK, so I'll be the first one to look stupid.
What does it do?
I have an idea, but would like you to clarify please.
Thanks.
:hmm4:

is that the kind you can hook it up to the computer and see tiny things live and moving on the screen? (ala planet earth's deep ocean)

No fair I want one, you have a cool toy and showed us now you gotta share :):)

:) I'm thinking we can set it up for the next meeting and folks can check out stuff from their tanks! It's pretty powerful...first time I looked in I saw a giant eye staring back...lol. I had a copepod on view. Yes, it does video and still photos.

Eric Borneman told me to be sure to get the optical lighting. It is a great light source. I played a bit with it tonight....um, you'll know where to find me for the next week or so.

Matt...bring the beer and pretzels and you're on!!! :)

Wow, that is so cool....u also get bottled Crystal spring water like me!

OhHhh-yea, beautiful toy u got there :D

I can't wait to get that camera rolling. If I didn't live almost an hour away from the store, I would have snuck back there tonight! I checked out skimmate from one of the coral tanks...lots of little guys moving around. The skimmate from the fish tanks...no movement. We run ozone through our fish tank skimmer, so I guess it does kill off everything that passes through it pretty well.

Tell Tom to stop sucking on dirty hoses and he won't get the Flu! I had the stomach flu since Sunday, finally starting to subside...

Wish him well!
Chris

Aww man thats not good. I hope hes better by sat. If not it can wait. I will be there around 1 ish, cant wait to see the new toy.

WOW! Nice!
I was never able to convince a boss in any LFS I worked at to get a scope. It can be a powerful tool to eliminate the quessing game. Everyone in Orlando (and beyond) should be proud and thankfull that that they have a LFS that has one. Keep raising the bar Marcye.
