Custom made by a good friend that most of us know, next upgrade a calcium reactor.

Lol that's a snazzy ripoff (read: duplicate) of the Deltec reactor with the stir bar thing :p

Thats awesome. "Their" stuff looks better and better, fancier and more complicated every time "they" make something.

I can only imagine what a Deltec this size cost.
$450 I'm looking into it.
BTW nice piece of equipment

May i suggest something...you dont want to skim the water of the surface with the way the elbow is set up. it looks like the elbow pointing up is an adaptation of a Calcium Reactor where you want to collect the accumulated CO2 at the top.

On the Deltec Stirrer, the elbow is facing down for a GOOD REASON, it's to not disturb the film at the water surface which can cause more CO2 to be introduced into the water column.

JOHNNY

In a kalk reactor, you dont want CO2 becuase it creates carbonate.

Lulio, Super nice! Where did you get it?

An all Deltec build will be sweet but hella expensive Manny. I look forward to reading about your big tank build.

I'm looking forward to it two.
The whole problem with the rest(equipment wise) is the lack of R&D
Those guys pay a lot of mula for it thus they put out the best product out there. Yes expensive but i will be keeping a big tank with big investments and I want to protect them.

I'm about 75% sure I'll use their products since i can't get GEO to build a skimmer- on my last email to him he's apparently staying away from skimmer building and concentrating on his reactor line.

Carlos
It was built by Manny (thesaint) is huge.

Ding2daDong
He builds them for $280

Johnny
Thank you for the advise, he did not glue the pvc so I can set it to my preference that elbow can point down or up and the motor can run on 24 or 12 volts adapter depending on how fast want it to turn.

Manny
I agree with you on Deltec wish I could afford it.
