New unnamed species of fairy wrasse

I believe this unnamed species (sub-species?) has the common name of "Sailfin" Fairy Wrasse? Does anybody have long term experience with them know if they're aggressive to other Wrasses?

They're very pretty, but they look awfully similar to Tono Fairies, which I've read are rather aggressive.

I have put one in QT with a larger Earlie wrasse. Within 5 minutes he was flashing the Earlie and pushing him around. Nothing extreme, but I removed the Earlie to be safe. Once he gets through QT he is going in with a group of larger more mature Cirrhilabrus wrasses including two 4" johnsoni a 3" jordani. Hopefully, he'll get along with them.

Kinda odd that everyone has had them for between 350-600 and bluezoo suddenly has one for $80 when they are the most overpriced website you can buy fish from.... something isn't adding up...

There are two places that actually collect these wrasse. Either they got it by accident and have know idea what it actually was or didn't know what to sell it for... willing to bet you won't see this mistake by bluezoo again

Btw pacific island aquatic has it in sale for 200 right now.

That blue zoo price seems to be about where i think they will end up in a few months.

That bluezoo price isnt even the wholesale price, so I kind of doubt it. That was a mistake by bluezoo. People like PIA are killing the market on fish all while not making much money and in turn making others not purchase the fish anymore. Much like NYAquatics did with Gem tangs a few months ago. Though this is good for the end users such as us, it makes wholesalers not get them as often and in turn you can end up waiting on a list for a fish from a supplier for quite sometime.

May be I got lucky or may be this particular wrasse species is super hardy but mine is eating while in acclimation.
