New Video of My Tank

Nice tank. That is some unusual shaped rock. It really works well in the tank. The angel is beautiful. Is it the only inhabitant of the tank ( I didn't see any other fish in the video- but even the angel was hiding)?

Thanks guys!

Mike, she's a wondeful, very personable fish. She'll eat right from my hand!

nitro4kthompson, there's also a single Serranocirrhitus latus (Sunburst anthias). The lights were off prior to taking the video, so the fish were asleep... not sure where the anthias was at the time.

Thanks, it's lace rock. Very similar in mineral composition to most live rock, with a bit more iron content. Generally it's denser than LR as well, but it's great stuff for my purposes.

Thanks Jonathan!
You made my day seeing that beautiful Apolemichthys arcuatus!
Mike, just posted some new vids of her eating in my build thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16920429&p osted=1#post16920429

This is what she's like when not rudely awaken ;)

Apolemichthys arcuatus is on my list of 3 Hawaiian fish I would like to get. I am sure you can figure out the other two. Unfortunately, it wont be going in my current aquarium and not in the one in my office either. Just another reason to get another aquarium down the road :)

Mike, sounds like an upgrade might be in the works down the road

Moses, too much ;) Per fishbase total length can be 18 cm (7 inches), but they likely would only reach around 6 inches in captivity.

beez, thanks! :D

Thanks guys!

Mike, I have to remind the GF that it's my "jewelry box" when she finds out any prices ;)

CycleDeez, it will stay very similar to this.
