I'll be interested to hear how it goes. When we added our female to the tank with our male after her growout period, he definitely showed her that he was the dominant red-fin, but it passed fairly quickly.

hmm, i released her to the DT, fairly stressed. The male just stared at her, no aggression yet.

We didn't do the "let them see each other" thing. I wonder if it took the "mystery" out of it...

hmm, didn't really think twice about keeping her in a breeder box in the DT. Just used it to get her feeding as i don't have any other space available.
