As I said guys I am not going to get into a war over pricing, nor will I knock other products, but I will respond to questions as to these units capacity.
Someone asked about hammering, on the pump.. there is zero
The drum is designed to open at one port while closing on the other, the wash over means no hammering or loading to the pump, if I had to put a number of some description on it I would say thats it almost the same as introducing a 90 degree bend.
The headloss is the same formulea same as a 90 degree bend.
I discuss all sales before shipping, and will not send out a custom application that could harm a pump...I discuss which version the individual requires,ask what pump capacity they want and then port accordingly.
The aim here was first to build a motorised ball valve for less than an industrial one, that I acomplished, and got another 7 outlets for free, the custom drum allows for 2 further versions, that costs no more, I got rid of the powerheads and also found a way to move water at the outlets very inexpensively. with very small and unobtrusive units.
I think I accomplished what I set out to do, you will be the proof.
I have a number of other projects in the works, also the larger model of the 4 way is underway, likely to accept 2" lines.
