A great guy with a great machine shop! This thing Rocks!
I can tell you firsthand that his build quality is superb, and hes a great guy to deal with.
This little thing is going places!
Have a look,
Chris

This looks very interesting! Do you know anyone that has used it yet? What about pricing?

The CNC work reminds me of all the small shops creating CNC components for bikes, particularly mountain bikes, back in the late 80s till the mid 90s.

Looking forward to seeing the product in operation (videos) and pricing.

That looks pretty cool. I wonder what the final price will be when it actually hits the market? They also do not make any mention to the power needs of the unit. I wonder if it is a low voltage motor or runs on standard house power?

i think it is external so you can screw it to your stand and the port you can plumb w/ PVC then

okay... that makes sense.. But on the website, it talks about all this crazy rotational (seaswirl like) behavior and moving up and down. I thought it was a robot or something! I guess we'll have to wait to see it in action?

The 8 way valve mounts remotely or even on the top of the tank, with the ports plumbed wherever you want them.
The little device at the bottom does go in the tank and its jet rotates 45 deg every pulse of the water from the 8 way or from a standard wavemaker driven powerhead.

Does it sorta work like a SCWD? All automatic/no batteries / AC required? Does water movement change the position of what port the water flows through? Or does water flow only control the parts that turn in the tank and the unit is powered?

i think there might be a plug-in for the power for that thing that turns so it opens or closes some nozzles....not sure though

Wow that looks cool! Has anyone gotten a price yet? Hopefully itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s somewhat affordable. :D

"Hopefully itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s somewhat affordable"

Define "somewhat". :D
Mike D,
You've got it. The 8 way is powered by a small AC motor and the submersible unit works by pulsed water pressure.
