New wireless router

I installed a new wireless router as the old one had issues.Do I need to go through the whole setup procedure from scratch or is there a shorter way.

You don't need to reconfigure DynDNS or your Apex if that's what you mean. Just setup the port forwarding rules on the new router and you should be good to go (assuming same brand - if not then your IP address subnet may have changed in which case you will have to change your Apex's IP address).
