Nice video Bud, what kind of wrasse is it? I couldnt make it out. I see you went bare bottom already. Corals look like they are all growing well. Nice to see you doing so well with the tank. How long has it been up and running now?

Thanks guys. The blue tang is still chasing him a little, but the wrasse doesnt seem to care much anymore. He is eating mysis and pellets already. It is a Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse, it has amazing colors. I started the tank July 2011, but dont think I added my first SPS until Novemeber. Still not sure about the bare bottom look, but it sure is nice not having to deal with sand.

Wrasses are jumpers so make sure you make a net for the top of your tank. Also some wrasse likes to sleep under the sand at night so you might want to do some research on how this guy sleeps. If he needs sand then you might need to put a cup of sand in the tank for him to sleeps in.

The wrasse is doing great, nobody messes with him. I read that fairy wrasses do not need sand, so far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed. I added a top to my tank, so nothing can jump out. It makes me want to get another jumper that I've never been able to have before. Any suggestions to my current inhabitants in my 48x18x18 (65 gallon)?

BTW - All of my above fish are from Jofish except for the clown fish (free from craigslist)
