New York Aquaria / Sal ?? OB??

I haven't been able to get to NY to vist Sal @ New York Aquaria in about 3 months due to business. I stoped there yesterday and the place was closed and gutted .. Did Sal close or move ?? There was no moved to sign in the windows..

Yeah he unfortunately went out of buisness, I live close by there and it sucks now bc there arent any good Westchester Fish places that have much in the lines of saltwater.

Jaws II in Elmsford has some amazing corals but the $$ is the highest ive ever seen.
Petco on Central ave in Yonkers has good dry goods and thats about it..

Other than that you really have to go outside of Westchester to get anything these days...:(
 
That was a great LFS. Show up one day and it was closed. I have tried its phone number after it close and the phone just rings and rings, but that was sometimes ago.
 
There are two pretty much just over the border in CT that would be worth it for you guys to look into. Also, you're probably about 40min. from that location to AbFish in Clifton on the weekend.

Are you speaking of Reef and Fins in Stamford, Conn? That's a first class LFS IMO. What is the second LFS you are speaking about in Conn?
 
looks like "fat sal" finally bit the dust.........he should have kept the original store in new rochelle ...no parking but it was a great place....RIP ...NEW YORK AQUARIA

p.s. remember crazy louie in elmsford??
