New York Aquarium?

Anyone ever been to the New York Aquarium? Was wondering if it is any good or worth planning a day trip for the family.

I like it. Plan on spending the day there, see the displays watch the shows, and then walk the Coney Island bordwalk. Have a Nathans, and watch the beach goers. If you are adventurous, the amusement park is open again.
