Lol you are the worst Marshall. I tried to delete the thread after i found out it was just an aberrant red sea purple.
Yeah thats not current in my signature. 4 years ago I combined those two tanks into a 125 and since have another 125 sitting next to it with a 20g QT tank. Our Nuvo 40g is in the process of getting set up.

No i didn;t get it. Too many horror stories about these guys and im holding out for a gem tang as my zebrasoma in that tank

Purple tangs and horror stories... NO :hammer:
I had one... It grew larger than every other tang, and just was a nightmare. Sold it to a local with a 300g tank. They are mean.

Purple tangs are one of my favorite fish. I had one that just used to camp out underneath the overhangs in my rockwork. Sadly I had to rehome it as it was absolutely terrorizing my copperband.
I have since replaced it with a chevron tang, but will add one when my new tank arrives after the holidays.
