New Zoas question???

I picked up my new zoas today, and within an hour they all were opened. My question though is do they get brighter than this, or do they stay about the same color? The guy who had them before me had them under PC's, while I have them under T5's.

thats probably the color that it will end up as. It might brighten up a bit depending on what bulb combo you have going there, but i wouldnt count on it looking 10x brighter

ohh i'm happy with the way they look, i just was wondering if they get much brighter.

Well, i had hitchhiker zoa that was pure white when I noticed it on my LR. Since then it has gradually gotten more and more flourescent green (its my avatar, btw). Not to say yours isn't already colored up all the way already, but there is a chance it may brighten up.

I think it's probably a safe bet that that is NOT how they will end up looking. I wouldn't count on them getting brighter, but I would almost certainly bet that under a different intensity lighting the pattern, intensity, and possibly, only possibly, the coloration will change. I haven't met a zoanthid yet, and I have more than 20 kinds, that hasn't changed under changes in lighting. Some look completely different in the top and bottom of the same tank.
