New zoas won't open completely

I recently purchased two zoa rocks from a LFS. The nitrites = 0 nitrates = 5 pH = 8.4 ammonia = 0. The polyps wont open completely. I had been running chemiclean for cyano. The rocks were originally under metal halides at LFS doing well, but they are now under PCs. Could it be due to the light or the chemiclean? I've had the rocks for two days now.

take out the chemicals, and do a water change. zoas dont like alot of chemical filtration being used.

also, they may not be opening b/c there is not enough light (i.e. they may not think its daylight in your tank and ready to open since they were previously under MH)

Look for nudi's and other zoo eaters. Could even be a fish picking at them.

I don't have any nudi's or fish that pick at it. Just a flame hawkfish and a goby.

I needed the chemiclean because the cyano was getting really bad. Do you think they will adjust to the light or should I move them up?
