hi all
right now i am setting up my 90 gallon non reef redy tank and for the circulation i'm in need of some advice

first the tank will be drilled in the upper center with a 1 1/2 " bulkhead for a surge system (for more detailed info goto http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=943673 )

but for circulation i was going to try tunze
now i have never had a product from your company nor ever seen a product in action but all the talk and hype i figured they gotta be great

what kind of setup would you recomend?
i will have a mixed bag of corals sps lps softies leathers etc

the filtration system will be an ecosystem sump system

my initial thought was 2 6060's and a multi controler

ne advice on this will be appreciated

thnks

6060's are not compatible with a tunze single or multi controller
you would have to get 6000's or 6100's

In a 90 there would be no need for a surge device if you're going to use tunze streams. Plus, if I understand correctly that your surge device is going to be a closed loop where the pump is on for a few seconds then off for 1-5 minutes, you're going to going through a lot of pumps. Most pumps arent made to be turned on and off like that and they will probably fail. Tunze stream 6000, 6100's, and 6200's are capable of pulsing and ramping up and down because of the electronics in them.

As Scarletknight06 said, I would suggest 2 6000 and a 7095 and that should be plenty of flow.
