Ah, finally among my own kind! i am new to the marine hobby and i have a 6 week old marine tank.My friends think i am nuts spending hundreds of dollars on an aquarium, especially in this economy, but i don't care.I had fresh water fish around the age of 7, now at the age of 24 i want something new.So i take the chance with no regrets.
Like i said im new to the hobby and so i have tonns of questions:

1.One of which......i want to know the ACTUALLY size of a miles lion fish. There is a inconsistency among websites of how big these fish really get.
ex: http://www.petco.com/shop/product.a...8_-_September_8,_2010-_-CISJY&cm_em=156616228

So is petco right in saying this fish only grows 8"?

2.can a kole tang live in a 46 gallon tank?

3.i am hoping to get a bicolor angel in the near future, so my question is-in a 6week old tank how much longer do i have to wait before i can actually go and get one?

Fishbase (fairly reliable) lists the Miles as getting to 35cm, which is just shy of 14 inches. I've also seen plenty of aquarium specimens up around 12 inches, so Petco's info is off by a good bit. Not really surprising though.

Koles, while one of the smaller tangs, will still need more space than a 46 gallon will have. I'd consider a 55 as a minimum.

BiColor Angels are tricky, most don't adapt to captivity very well. The best sucess with those is ones sourced from known net caught and good suppliers, and in well aged reef tanks with lots of critters to pick on. So I'd recommend letting the tank age and establish for at a year before trying one, and taking that time to really research them ;)
