Newest Experiment (Brakish fish in Full Reef?)

Yep, I've actually got 1 Black Molly and one Fancy tailed guppy in 1.025 Salinity.

I started them out in fresh water (bought from PetSmart) and have slowly cranked up the salinity over the past 2 weeks.

They are now doing very well in full reef salinity, I plan to add them to a reef tank sometime today I think.

I just though it would be really cool to have fresh water fish (sort of) in a reef tank.
It appears it can be done!!!!

We'll see how they get along with others in the tank though.

They seem to be doing very well and are still eating like pigs!!!

That's great, Steve!

When I was 16, I tried the same thing with a Siamese Tiger Fish, just before I jumped to saltwater. Pretty rewarding for me at the time:)
 
Figure 8 or Lepard,(spelling...brain fart), Puffers can be adapted as well and in fact have seen them at capital in both sections.....fresh and salt before.

When I had a FW tank, one of my favorite!!
