What are you doing for ventilation of the hood?

I got two exhaust fan drilled to the wall.

alden, are you using bathroom exhaust fans or something different. I ask because I am trying to figure a good ventilation plan for my new 270 reef tank. I have a skeleten frame up with 3X250 MH and 4X96 PC and the heat it adds to the room is significant. I just bought a Nutone exhaust fan that is supposed to be very quiet and 50 CFM for the end near the wall for exhaust. I will probably install another fan blowing in at the other end of the hood, possibly one of those super quiet vantec fans or similar.

Tank is 72 x 36 x 40..SXump is 72 x 24 x 24
Wow a 36ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ tall tank. I have enough trouble reaching the bottom of my 30ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ tank and I have 6ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ of sand in my tank. Either youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re really tall or you must stick your head in the tank to see whatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s going on. :) I now see why youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re using 400 watt lights for your tank.

A 450 gallon tank seems popular right now, I have one too.

Itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s looking really nice. I canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t wait to see more pictures.
