Newly set-up 55 gallon and looking for some live rock.

I just finished setting up my 55 gallon and I want to buy some live rock for my tank. I live in Queens on the boarderline of long island and I can pick it up. Thanx

$3 per pound

most local stores I know sell it live for 6-9 dollars I have even seen some $12

no its dead, but seed it with some LR and itll be live in a month or so. cheaper way of doing it, rather than buying all live rock.

Im looking for Live rock with some coraline algae on it but thanx anyway

I have 'used to be live' rock. It is live rock with coralline on it from when I had my tank set up, but has been dry (out of water) in storage. It would need to be cycled again, and then the coralline would probably come back to life again. Hope this helps, I understand if not interested!
