Next meeting Sunday Mar 11th

Getting close to the meeting, Sunday, So, Jake is going to be grilling tri tips for all and wants us to bring sides and salads, desserts, sodas, beer and wine. We will be having a raffle for the club and Ken with be giving a demo and talk about photography. Sounds like a good meeting. See you all there. Grant

Anyone want a rock with two mini nems on it? They are about the size of a nickle. The rock has a little bit of nasty algae on it, but I'd bet a good CUC and a clean system would handle it. I'd put the rock in the raffle, but it sounds like Grant has that thing pretty stocked. Plus I don't like to put things with nasty algae in the raffle.

Ive god a green (yuma?) mushroom too, if anyone wants it. I didn't get it from Grant, but it is basically one of those.

I think it is a mini mini.
They are like maxi minis in structure, but don't get as big. I have three, the largest is the one on my ric rock that I am keeping. It is maybe 2" across. These are more like 1/2" to 1". They won't get much bigger than a fifty cent piece, I don't think.

Mike, Trade is welcome, but certainly not required.

I've been messing around with my camera all morning. I can't wait to get some pointers from someone who's knows what they are doing. I pulled out the manual and I can really see how the f/stop and ISO setting change the way the pictures come out. As soon as the light come on I am going to get some shots and see if I can't get them posted today

Thx Jake and Quinn for letting us invade your great new place. The meeting was great, tritips were cooked perfectly as was the rest of the food. Jake's tank was looking really good and healthy, and we had a good turnout. Special thx to Ken for giving the crash course in photography, it was very informative and interesting and covered pretty much all aspects of his art. The raffle made a lot of money for the club and everybody went home with a number of corals. Thanks to Mike for driving all the way from the city to basically drop off a bunch of frags and say hello to the gang. Nice to see some new faces and I hope you guys had a good time. All in all a good meeting. Grant

Holy fricken dog stuff, i thought it was next weekend.. i cant believe it. Im sorry to all for missing this, i know my presence didnt make or break the party but i realy want to be there. Im an idiot... well there is always a next time. Grant ill have to make plans with you in the future. Sorry guys and gals..
