Just a reminder that we are going to have a SLASH Summer Party over here at Casa de Nook. I could use a head count to help me determine how much food to buy. I usually over-buy and then have to feed the racoons excessive amounts of tasty treats
The forecast looks a little better than it has been the last couple of weeks: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 90s and lows in the low 70s.
The menu is shaping up like this:
Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings
Seasoned Burgers w/wo BBQ sauce
Brats, Dogs and Hot Links
Teriyaki kabobs
Three Bean Salad
Chips, salsa, cheese dip
Margarita's, Sangria, and Beer for the grown-ups
Iced tea, lemonade, soda and water for the under-aged folks
Feel free to bring your wive's, husbands, kids, etc....there will be plenty of fun for all. Our pool is open and looks good...so bring your trunks/swimsuits and have a blast.
The tankroom isn't done all the way, but is pretty close, so you can offer any suggestions on the sumps, plumbing, etc and I will change it all for the 15th time
