Given what the cost of travel is doing, even if they agree to come, getting a speaker flown in is going to become harder and harder to do. For the reasons Erik mentioned, I think we are going to have to continue to be more self reliant as a group, and/or perhaps engage other clubs such as CORA to make combined efforts to get big name speakers, etc.

How about the President of CORA giving a presentation to our Club about some of the things going on with them? Some of their Club's bigger tanks,projects they are working on, areas of interests for both club? Joint projects? Just an idea................
