Nick's new 90 Gal setup

So I finally got my new 90 up and running, custom built 3' long x 2' x 2', pic of it below before the LS and LR were added, I'll add more pics in a few days. It is going to be a 4" DSB with "sugarfine" sand, smallest I could find. Only filtration will be LR and 2 HOB Bak-Pak knock-offs, and 2 powerheads for flow in the tank. 1x175w hqi w/ 2 small actinics.

Basically ran out of room in the 2 small reefs, 29 and 35, thanks to all the cheap additions I find from trolling the "for sale" section on SDreefs =P

So the basic plan is mainly SPS, but unsure on the fish. The only thing I want to add for sure is a male/female pair of golden headed sleepers gobies, Valencienna strigata, but not until the tank is mature. I also have some extra rose anemones, so I am looking for some obscure clowns, like saddle back, leucokranos, ephippium. Anyone have some these swimming around in the So-Cal area? =)

Other suggestions?

Thx,
Nick

What is the white thing in the center of the tank? You didn't mention anything about a sump or closed loop in your first post.

Looking forward to the pictures.

It is for future considerations =)

I'm not running a sump now, but when I move, I plan to setup my first system with a sump, and I want a tank with 4 viewing sides, which is the reason for the center overflow. The drain is now just capped off, and will not be seen once I have all the LR surrounding it. The plan is for a large mound either in the center, or towards the right side with the intention of 3 or 4 side viewing.

LR and LS is sitting in the tank now, but since it is at my brothers house, I can't take pictures til tomorrow when I go there to add the last of the sand and arrange the rocks.

OK, so the last of the LR and LS went in today. LR is mostly cured, and the sand is somewhat live from another persons tank, but it sat in a bucket for a few days. I washed it out a bit with fresh saltwater to get rid of the muck, so it shouldn't be too dramatic of a cycle. The rocks in the picture are a little less than I intend to have in the tank when it is finished, but the mound is similar to what I want, but it will be a little wider and get closer to the sides than now. I also just threw the rocks in a mound, so no real arches yet, once everything is settled and clear I will mess with it. I got 4 1" green chromis to cycle the tank, hopefully they won't have too many issues with the cycling, but 5 bucks a pop wasn't too risky. I hope they all live because it should be cool to watch them schooling, maybe add a few more small ones later.
