Nicole C snails

I have been w/o a tank for awhile and decided it was time to give it a try again. I have been running my lights with nothing in the tank for the past 2 weeks and I already have some algae growing. I would love to get some of the really small snails that Nicole used to sell that reproduce like rabbits. If anyone (especially if your close to the I.E.) has some they could part with please let me know.

Thanks,

Zack

LOL, better not tell IPSF they are "my" snails.

Since I moved to the nano, I only have a handful right now, but surely other folks must have tons of these by now.

Collumbellid sp. snails, sold by IPSF as "strombus grazers" although they are not strombus sp. snails. They do look like mini conches, though. But conches don't go on the rock, on your glass, cruise the sand bed, down your drains... they clean everywhere.

Im in ohio... but i have 1000's of em. if you have trouble getting them, pm me and we could make somthing work. i have the pink striped ones too :)

Hey, what's up Mark? How is the tank doing?

Yeah I am hoping some love will come my way in the form of frags from some old friends.

Do Lyndell, Scott, Wilbur, and Murray still post here?

C'mon people- Nicole used to bring these and pond plants to every swap. I know somebody has way too many of these and I would love to help out with the excess.

BTW- Thanks for the offer Tourkid

From 6 little originals, I got black, brown, pink striped, purple striped, pure white... eventually they all just turn coralline purple anyway. :) But it's hard to believe the variation that came from those few snails.

Probably my absolute funniest reefing moment was having someone ask me how I got the snails to match the rock.

Scott posted a few days ago on my thread but he's out of the hobby. I haven't heard from Murray in almost a year. Wilbur is still here, not sure about Lyndell.
