Nilsen Reactor Question

I am just wonding if any one is running a Nilsen Reactors on nano tank. If so could you tell me how you have it set up? How much Kalk you are adding to the reactor? Have you had any problems? I had a major mishap yesterday, and I am trying to figure out how to make this reactor work with my system. Too much kalk was added and pH shot up way high (10 or so). So if any body actually has one of these working well I would love to hear from you.

I run one on my 30 gallon. The tank evaps 1/2 gallon aday. I have set up my kalkreactor to drip 85ml every hour. This takes care of the 1/2 gallon of evap water.

How much kalk do you add to your reactor when you started it up.

My reactor says on all the time. I have a pan 50 hooked up to it for recir.. I put a cup of kalkwasser in the reactor.
