So... Melly found me a Wii at EB at the Mall tonight... I know she bought one for herself and that Kim has one as well... I figured I'd start a thread about how much WII rocks!!!!!! lol

I know its off topic, but they have some fishing games and whatnot too... ;)
 
I just got done with my 3 hour tour of guitar hero :). It is by far my favorite game I have played. The new Aerosmith version will be mailed to me on the release date (June 29). We also have Mario Cart and The Godfather (Garrett's blood, guts and gore game). Can't wait til you guys get some games so we can race/rock together online.
 
jeez, i must be really old...we have one, i think we got it for the kids for xmas...and i've never played it...i'm not even sure what games we have.
 
DOOOD...Kim...how often do you play Mario Kart? I totally want to get it.

Randy...I found out that Mario Kart is a game that Nathan will play with me!!! He will actually sit down and play it with me. I can't believe it...a video game he likes! I'm so excited. I've totally got to get that game now.

I haven't hooked my Wii up yet. hah hah. I got home last night so late, had to eat dinner, make lunches, scoop cat boxes (5 of them)...and despite Nathan helping me...we still didn't get to bed until after 11! (Nathan gets up at 4:45 so we can't very well stay up playing Wii.)

I may have to take a vacation day to get it set up and get going on it! hah hah.

On that topic...if anyone finds a Wii Fit or a Mario Kart...please buy it for me and call me. I will immediately come get it.
 
Mel: Mario Kart is the game Garrett and I play together, when he isn't here it is Guitar Hero all the way :)
 
hummmmm the point of video games is to do nothing IMO. If I have to actually move my body it's a turn off. I have an xbox 360 and fragging newbs online while burning 0 calories is my idea of a good time. The only time I did manual video game labor was NES Track & Field at age 6. With that said I do have guitar hero and after beating it on medium in one day its been collecting dust.

I know, I'm a mood spoiler

As much as I'd love to grace all you fine people with my presence, I must attend my Nephews track meet since I slept through the last one and the meeting is just a little far for me to make it.

Kim...it's a great game? Mario? You need to get a second guitar so you guys can play GH together.

That...or Rock Band is coming out soon. I'm totally buying it btw.
 
Mel...I'm very happy with both games. I like Mario Kart cause you can do all of the original stuff plus race with people all over the world online.....which I think is neat :). You do have to get a second guitar, which we haven't done yet.......he isn't in to it as much as I am. He has been talking about Rock Band, I think he'll like it more cause of the drums.
 
The Wii really is great! JWJ managed to get me one for Christmas when they first came out.

I may have missed it, but I didn't see where anyone had mentioned Rayman and the Raving Rabids!?! I have both the first and second one (the second one kind of sucks)...the first one though....GREAT party game! It has a TON of mini games in it and also a descent story mode.

Of course the best RPG that I have for it is Zelda....I have 15 hours into it and still am no where close to the end.
Super Paper Mario is a great game too, as is Super Mario Galaxy.
I'm so glad to see that have so many fellow Wii-tards on here!!

Ok so I have yet to use mine. I got it set up last night and even acquired Mario Kart.

Randy, sorry I couldn't get you a Mario Kart. I went there with my technician (Tommy), who also wanted one and they only had 2 copies. Since he had spent the past hour or so with me, gathering phone numbers and calling all over to find them, then driving there to go get them, I didn't think it was right to tell him he couldn't have one of the two copies.
 
I'm a ps3 man myself...but the wife wants a wii. I personally hate xbox 360...no offense to anyone that has one,just not my cup of tea.
 
im a dork....and had to own all three systems.....yea yea, im a little spoiled than most kids (kid? im 24 ahhhh!)....and as much as i love my wii i mainly bought it for the family since they play it way more than i do......the only other game on another system that they will play is rockband......what an awesome game....i bought 2 drums to battle it out with my sister
