I just purchased some nitragone by natureef. What I failed to realize is that it is for use in a cyclic denitrification reactor. Does anyone have any experience using this system? I also wandered if it can be used without a reactor. From what I understand it uses a doser to control the input of the nitrogone. So, I would think you would be able to add small amounts without a reactor.
The website says not to use without the reactor. The whole system seems a little unnecessary to me and expensive. My nitrates arent nearly bad enough to justify such a system. I'll probably just get some nitrate sponge and call it a day.

The Nitragone won't do any good outside the reactor, and might not be necessary with one. It's just bacterial nutrients.
