Nitrate Fuge Export...

Just a thought,

I purchased the CPR Med HOB fuge to add to my tank and am waiting for it to arrive. Part of the reason I want it is for Nutrient export. I was going to add Cheto but thought, hmmm... My pulsing Xenia is growing like mad. It is taking over the middle of my tank. Has anyone used Xenia in their fuge? Is is better or worse than cheto to pull out guck from the tank? Just a thought.

Ehhh Chaeto is probably much better since nutrients are it's main food source; I would also consider a mangrove! Just frag the xenia's ... here's a link to a video of how to frag them ... http://www.garf.org/MPegs/XeniaPropagation.mpg
