Nitratreductor 1000

HI!!
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY HELP ON THE SET-UP OF THE NITRATREDUCTOR 1000 WITH A PERLASTIC PUMP AND MV COMPUTER ?
I HAVE FILLED IT WITH TANK WATER 24 HRS AGO AND MV READING IS NOW 180 THE WATER SUPPLY IS SWITCHED OFF .
I AM USING BACTOBALLS AND DENIBALLS .

COMPUTER IS SET AS FOLLOWS-
-180MV
HYS 10
LOW SETTING
IS THIS CORRECT?
AND WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
I HEAR YOU HAVE TO LET THE FILTER MATURE FOR 7-14 DAYS THEN PUMP ALL WATER OUT OF THE FILTER AS THIS IS NO GOOD THEN RE-FILL WITH TANK WATER THEN SWITCH ON PERLASTIC PUMP AND OUT FLOW INTO YOUR SKIMMER.
NEED A LITTLE HELP!!

No problem... It did not bother me just thought I'd mention it. My dad used to type like that

Put deniballs and fill with tank water, feed with about 5 spoons of the powder that came with it, plug in the recircular pump and let it run, leave the feeding tube open. Check the nitrate and write it down. Let it run for about one week and check the nitrate out of the reactor again, write it down, if it's not zero then let it run again, also check your mv and it should be in the negative greater than -50, you will start to smell a rotton egg smell. When the nitrate reactor output is zero start dripping the output slowly, about 15 drops per minute.

I'll add more next time.

leave the unit off with recirc pump running,feeding tube open.
take your nitrate tests from the tank and write them down.in 5-7 days check the nitrate/nitrite levels of the unit and write them down.In aprox 10-14 days you should start to smell a nasty rotton egg smell from the effluent so it would be test time again.at that point the unit should be ready to get going.mine only took about 8-10

Will give it ago.
So far water leaving unit is about 40ppm on salifert test kit which is a lot lower than in my tank around 100ppm.
How do i get water to drip into tank slowly ?
Only when perlastic pump comes on when unit reaches -300mv the mv reading rises then switches off pump till it gets back to -300mv .
Is there a way to regulate this so its constant ?
