No luck AI Prime already dead

So we got our AI Prime light 10/12 and today we had the blinking red light of hardware failure! Just as everyone was getting happy after the heater failed and the temp dropped to 70 for a day. We are having some serious bad luck! Husband is picking up a new one on his way home from work. We were talking about getting a second one anyway.

Anyone had experience with returning things to them? I have started the process which they say will only take a few days.

Where did you buy it from?
I would be dealing with whomever I purchased it..

And yes your luck seems to suck lately.. Is it bad luck comes in 3's?
 
My black box has lasted longer then your prime. Something is very wrong here! lol

Sorry for the frustration though. It can be a pain. Hopefully it all gets sorted out quickly and easily.
 
They are sending me a new light. I just have to send my old one back to them when it arrives in the box. They were very nice about it. My husband designs LED lights and he says the flashing red light means the fan died. That is standard in the industry. I can’t be mad since they are being nice and shipping me a replacement for free today.

I hope bad luck does not come in threes! I will be monitoring very carefully for the next few days!
 
Shift happens sometimes!

Bought a brand new milwaukee salinity monitor. Came in broken(would not calibrate to 0). After a couple troubleshooting attempts by CS, they emailed me a return label last Friday. I'll have a new unit this Friday after they checked it over and deemed it could not be fixed.

Good CS is hard to find these days in this hobby, and companies like these 2 should be trumpeted from the top of the hills!
