No room for mush-rooms

For some reason of all the corals I can not keep Mushrooms are one.

I have a full tank of healthy and growing coral, SPS, LPS, and softies. But mushrooms always seem to dwindle away. I have quite a bit of leather in my tank, every other coral seem to co-exist with my leather, are mushrooms know to do badly with leather?

Thanks,
E

Yeah, you may be right. I used to keep mushys with no prob, but that was when I only had a few 40w tubes. Now I run 6 54W T5HOs.

Are your mushrooms under intense lighting? Should be moderate or low, and the flow shouldn't blow them off their rock.

I have been having trouble with mushrooms as well,,they used to thrive in my tank then all of a sudden they started dying:( after tons of work i have narrowed it down to 1 of 2 things.. its either my 22k halide bulbs or high nitrates ,,just not sure witch because i raised my light fixture up one extra foot and did a 90% waterchange the same week,,,but my shrooms are coming back! hope this helps!

too much flow is what does it to mine. I keep them all under 250 halides in a 75 gallon. They love the extra light but if I have them in any major current they start to bumble off from the rocks.
