no skimmer for 2 weeks

I had a 40 gallon sump under my 100gallon. I am customizing it. So i have a 20 gallon sump I just customized for a new 30 gallon tank project under my 100gallon. It has no sump in it becuse it won't fit. I wont have the new remodled 40 gallon sump ready for about 2 weeks. Should I do extra water changes or something. I don't have much stock. 4 medium fish, cabage coral, devils hand, 2 clams, condy, few zoos

I think you're tank will be fine. Those corals of yours don't require a super clean water. Other SW hobbiest run their softcoral tank without skimmer. Just do at least 10% water change every week or 2 weeks.

I agree. I've run tanks for years without skimmers. Also ran skimmers in the same tanks for years (there were reasons for both choices). In any case, your tank should be fine.

I only run my skimmer a couple times a week.
