No softie forum so....toadstool leather

I have a large toadstool leather that was attached to liverock and when I tried to move it I accidentally tore the stock. It released some slime and I was wondering if this will effect anything else in the tank (corals and fish). Will the toadstool make it?

I've had the same happen in my tank before...probably won't hurt anything.

If it tore pretty deep I would be tempted to go ahead and cut it off and remount it somewhere else so I could have 2!

Hi All

FWIW I also had the same thing happen, I left the piece on the glass that ripped off the leather. It actually started growing on the glass.. I got a decent sized frag out of it!
