NO3 sources

You can go with any of these mentioned, there are also other sources for the chemicals.. try gregwatson.com. Kent makes a Nitrate only product that is suitable (its sodium nitrate, but just as good). I think its still in their Botanica line as Kent Nitro +. There are bound to be other sources out there that I havent yet come across. Generally I use tissue culture grade chemicals from scientific suppliers.

Thanks for all the help. I was wondering, with KNO3 are there any problems with having too high levels of potassium?

Potassiums role is fairly misunderstood as far as I can tell. There is alot of it in NSW, nearly in the same concentration as calcium. The amount of dosing that you will be doing isnt likely to cause a large change in potassium.

When I mixed up my KNO3 solution for dosing, I used the Greenlight stump remover, and mixed 10 tsp. into 1 quart of water. This has lasted me a year.
