Noisy 6025

I just recently (last few days) installed 2 6025's I ordered online. One of them makes quite a bit of noise. The other one makes a very quiet hum. Is there something I can do to quiet the noisy one down? The noisy one also was in 2 pieces when I received them and it was hard to make the 2 halves stay together. Could this be part of the problem?

It could be, if the prop is hitting the front half that could be the source of the noise, double check it.

OK Thanks I'll check it out tonight. The front half was off when I received it and it was really hard to keep it on so it makes sense that, that could be the problem


Also I freaking love the Osmolator!!

I took a close look at the pump when I did a water change this weekend, everything looks fine, the prop is definetly not hitting the front. What's the next step? Thanks.
