Noisy BK Mini

I have had a bubble king mini 160 skimmer for some time now and it has always been dead silent. Now you can hear it sucking in air, sounds like a jet. I havent changed anything in the way its setup.

Any ideas of how to make it quite again?

Did you try cleaning out the silencer?
