I know its a pretty informal club but cmon Kevin. For the most part, there are threads that we can kid around but there are a few you should just leave alone unless you have something pretty constructive to say.

Yeah I agree, no hard feelings but this is very important. We have some things that need to change and electing 5 people to decide those changes is very important. Big things will not happen without rules and a proper structure.

Let's get some more nominations and accepting going on, I am really looking forward to being on the board, there are some exciting thing's happening soon, I'd think everyone would want to be involved

Dan, you can decline in this thread or in private to any of the board members. So far the nomaniees are in this thread.

The duties listed are in the SCMAS by-law thead.

After talking with Chris and Todd today I think I'll reconsider and accept the Treasurer nomination from calvin415

Todd stated at the beginning of the thread you have to repond one way or another so if no reponse no nomination. I'd think you have to accept and if you simply assume nomination then say you are nominated for 4 positions then you'd have people trying to pick where they want you and you could end up as a pres, and vp if the votes are equal. I think the point is to accept the nom. for the position you want out of the ones your nominated for.
