Just checked out jendub.com. There's some nice morphs there for sure, but some of those pics look like they're taken under black lights (20K I know). I think they're a bit misleading to the average hobbyist about what kind of colors you'd see under more natural lighting. That's what got Blane Perun his bad rep. I know when I started out, I bought a lot of corals based on 20K pics and was very disappointed with the actual frags without blue-shifted lighting a photoshop. Caveat emptor... JMHO.
Just wanted to take a second to clear this comment up.
We do use several different types of lighting to properly reproduce our coral's natural habitat. These include 20k (175w), t5 and radium 250w.
The implication that these lighting schemes are "unnatural" is very uneducated and quite uncalled for. Anyone who has been snorkeling or diving in the tropics knows that sunlight looks like a radium at 15-20 feet and proceeds to get even bluer the deeper you dive. At the depth these corals naturally occur the light is extremely filtered and much bluer than any of our tanks.
If the average user receives fragments from this depth and proceeds to place them in a 10k or strong 14k (400w for example) lit tank, the frags will be forced to adapt to the unnatural conditions the hobbist has placed them into (which often leads to color shifts).
Is this the fault of the seller, the coral or the uneducated hobbist?
Please take the time to ask questions and read up before purchasing animals so you can provide them with the proper care =)
Also, we don't use photoshop of any kind. This practice is abused by many sellers in the hobby and we made it a point when we started to never use the software. This is well know by hobbists, our friends and other vendors; it is one of the main reasons our customers are mainly repeat customers.
Please keep the mud slinging and low blows off of public forums, it's just unfortunate that someone would start making accusations when they have never purchased from us in the first place. If you have any questions please email us directly so we have an opportunity to clear them up before it resorts to this type of stuff.
That's my 2cents on the matter, I hope it has added a bit to everyone's understanding of these animals =)
