Non-Official Photography Group

As it was mentioned in the 2007 Officer Nominations thread, Adam (papagimp) brought up a good point about documenting our meetings and events with photographs. It was then proposed by Paul (captbunzo) that a group might be better to handle the situation. This really sparked my interest and was suggested to keep the other thread on topic, understandably.

Of course, it will take the 2006 and/or 2007 officers to make the final decision on making something like this official. But even if it isn't in the club's best interest to take on this endeavor, I really like the idea. I would be more than willing to work other photographers out of our own personal time to help document our meetings and such. Even if it is just for fun.

It doesnt have to be sanctioned. Set up a photography interest group inside COMAS.

As you may recall i tried to organize a talk regarding photography and issue pertaining to tank photography. This is something I still feel would be worthwhile.

So, who would be willing to take a little extra time once in a while to start clicking pictures away? There wouldn't necessarily be any strict rules or anything, of course.

I'll agree to bring my camera to the meetings when I can. I can snap some pics if I don't have my hands full with club duties or my kids.
