For all the folks who picked up Yellow/Orange tree Gorgonians curteousy of Paul....How are they faring so far?

Mine hasn't opened up yet (med high flow/med light). I feed my fish a homemade mixture with about 15 different ingredients including oyster eggs, cyclopeze, golden pearls, etc. so the gorg should be OK once it opens up. From what I've read, this species is relatively hardy as far as non-photosynthetic gorgs go.

If anyone has success, please post your params, feeding, etc. as we have a good opportunity to help fine tune the care of these corals by having them in several different systems.

It takes a few days for them to open sometimes Mike but I can (almost) assure you it will. It took mine a few days but they should get long white polyp extension soon.

Thanks Paul. Do yours open at night or during the day? The swiftia polyps look like they're capturing some food particles though.
