Non photosythetic nem.

A friend has had an anemone in her sump for 3 years. Without getting into her sump details, she has had no light in the sump all this time. This anemone of some sort has been living fine in the dark. She recently has it detached and took a pic of it last night. I have no idea what it is. Now she is asking is it ok to put in her main tank. I say no because who knows the risk. Without identity what should she do with this nem? Is is definitely some sort of anemone. Thanks

sure it isn't aptasia? i had a sump full of them and mine got no light.
