o^__^o<-- MY PLUGS
so i have a coralife aqualight 2x96
pc lighting

is this enought light for a R OR GBTA??

fixtures on a standard 29g thanks

That will be plenty for a BTA in a 29 gallong tank. I would go with daylight bulbs. 10000K would be good, crisp white, not yellow. Actinic light doesn't provide light in the range that the anemone can benefit.

Back when I had my 29, and PC lights, I kept BTAs in that tank with 2*96 (( one was a 50/50 bulb )) with no issues. The only thing I didn't like was how the fixture hung over the sides of the tank --- 96 watt PC bulbs are 36", and a standard 29 is 30".

10-12 for pcs is good. For MH one could lean toward 9-10 hours, even less if combined with other high intensity lighting such as T-5s, for T-5s alone, I'd say anything from 9 -12 is fine.
