Noob question about Tunze pumps

I was reading up on Turbelle nano stream 6025 and had a couple questions.

Do these rotate on their own?
Does the water flow differ then using a maxi-jet, as in flow direction?
Do I need a controller?

Any other info on these pumps would be helpful,

thanks

I have limited knowledge of the new nanostreams, but will try to answer your questions. They do not rotate at all, they are stationary like the regular tunze pumps. I am unaware of the flow direction, but they appear to offer more range of motion than the regular tunze streams do. I do know that the 6025 is not controllable . Only the 6045 is controllable, and will work the stream controller 7094 or 7095. HTH.

What Jim said. Additionally, I successfully mounted a Tunze 6060 to a sea-swirl, and am sure the smaller nano-streams could also be so mounted. I have sinced ditched the non-controllable Tunzes for the less expensive modded maxijet stream.

The flow is much greater from these pumps due to the propeller rather than standard spoke-style impeller. At the same time, the flow is more diffuse, more spread out, rather than the concentrated jet of a standard powerhead.
