Nooooooo!!!!!! Not the frog spawn!!!!

If it helps, mine seems like Nori more than Krill. I spent about a week trying with the glass trap method and had no luck. He'd hang from the edge of the rock with one or two feet and wave his claws in the glass, but even when he couldn't reach the food, he never fell for it.

He's pretty close to hand tame now, so it should be easy to scoop him out when it's time. If you're desperate, you could always get a trigger or track down an octopus :-p

I'm kinda surprised he managed to eat your Monti over the course of a couple days, quite an appetite on him. Have you gone flashlight hunting yet? If possible, you might want to put some netting over his hole, or over any corals near it.

I haven't gone flashlight hunting but its worth a shot, I never see it while lights are on. I put the remaining frogspawn in a hob breeder net so it still get flow and light. The Monti however was glued down pretty well. I have a bigger green one that I'll probaly put in the net. I'll try the bottle meathod too.

So all the hermit crabs are out now. I just remembered that I put in some emerald crabs like a year ago and I used to see them probaly a couple times a week but I probaly haven't seen one in the last 6 months. I think I'll take the frog spawn out of the breeder net back to we're it was to confirm that the red eyed crab is the culprit.
