Nori question

Does it matter what dry nori you use? Is the stuff from the store just as good as the algae sheet fish food companies sell? Any difference at all?

Just make sure there is no additives to the store bought nori. Otherwise no difference. Used store bought from an Asian market for years no issues.

Some nori has oils added. Stick to the plain seaweed stuff and it still fine. Much cheaper too than fish nori.

I have used the Omega One Super Veggie Green Seaweed for years. The only listed ingredient is seaweed and it lasts for quite some time. It holds its form pretty well when rolled up and rubber banded to a rock, or lately a piece of pvc I suspend from the screen top with fishing line. Easier to take out of the tank and I don't have to get wet ;) All my fish love it.

I finally gave up anchoring it down to anything.tang rips a part in seconds.i just put a piece on top and it very quickly hydrates and get processed what tang misses everyone else gets a look- in.
