I think it is the same. I have some Sea Veggies that is exactly like the nori sold for sushi except that it is cut with a paper shredder LOL.

I also have sheets of nori that are made for sushi. The fish love it.

That corner is like little viet nam...;) Yes..that's what I meant. Have you tried Julian Sprung's sea veggies? Really fresh and the fish go crazy for it. It comes in three types..red,purple..and green.

i use the nori sheets from publix-in the sushi section. about 1/10 the cost of stuff from lfs. been using them a year now with no ill effects.

The sushi nori (roasted) seem to be great for delivering vitamins (kent zoa) to the fish, the nori completely soaks it up, hopefully there is plenty still in there after it goes into the tank to be eaten.

I have some Julian Sprung Sea Veggies and it seems exactly like the sushi nori to me, except that it looks like it went through a cross cut paper shredder to make little rectangular pieces. I'm not positive that it is the same though. I'll have to try to find some raw seaweed the next time I'm near an Asian market...

Mine says "Toasted" seaweed and my fish love it. Even my clowns eat it. They never touched the nori from the LFS
