Normal lawnmower blenny behavior

Just got one and seems like he has faster gill movement than some other fish. Also holds mouth open more. Is this normal? I've watched some videos and it seems like maybe they have fastish gill movement. If mine is sick, it probably wouldn't be munching on my liverock constantly, right?

mine also has relatively fast gill movement and ive had him for about 4 months with no problems. if hes still eating, i wouldnt worry

Sounds about normal. I agree with above. A 29g seems a bit small for him. Do you have a lot hair algae? Mine likes mysis but not all will eat them. Sooner or later you'll need to get him on prepared food.
