A co-worker told me that they closed. I didn't get out there too much, as I live in windsor, but it is unfortunate to have a local reef shop close down. Anyone know if they are planning to relocate?

Rumor is the store will be reopening without reptiles at its old location. Anyone know anything different?

Wow, glad to hear that. Wonder why they had to close to accomplish that...anyway, I'll be down to check them out again when they get some livestock in.

stopped in last weekend. They said it would be 2 weeks until they had fish and corals. They needed to recycle all the tanks. They are looking to distribute coral in some way which means they would get in large shipments and cherry pick for the store and ship off the rest to other retailers. Sounds promising. They have mysis and dry goods now. They have reptiles as well.

Hey all,

Stooped by today and they are just about to get some corals in. Sounded like a few of you have already started talking to them which is great. I promoted our club, talked about having a meeting there and they were very receptive. Sounds like they are looking for stuff to fill the tanks and are willing to give store credit. Plus I saw Anthony the owner who got me into reefing many years ago and it seems like he will be around some more and that is always a good sign.
They are going to have a grand opening with lots goodies and sales I think the 28th and 29th of January.(can't believe I am getting so old I forget things in like 10 minutes)

The manager was very into our club and said he will look for us on here and facebook.

Looks like we may get another store to throw our money at soon.

Craig, that is good news, I will contact them about having a club meeting there in the near future. I am hoping to get Aquatic collection to sponsor us, but they are reluctant. If north bay are willing to sponsor us then we got the five sponsors that we are looking for.

Rachel,

Good to meet you to and see the new store. I will be at the Grand Opening to at least buy a bucket of salt and see how it goes.

Yes try and make a meeting. For me it was the best thing I could have done in this hobby. All the members are great and their combined knowledge has improved my abilities greatly, as well as saved me lots of money which I then could put back ito my tanks, Pond, House,Car ect. :)

I went to Northbay today, met with the owner (Anthony), nice guy, he also has a bigger store in Texas. The new store layout is nice, we talk for about 1/2 an hour about the club and sponsorship. He is very open and will let me know when the store is up and running.

This weekend he will have a grand opening and has a shipment of corals coming in so if anyone like to show up would be great, the more the better. Also please mention that you are from WCR. I will post when the sponsorship is finalized.

Ok, how is their stock? I am going to set up a meeting there when they are up and running so we can bring the meeting closer to the Petaluma people. Hopefully by next month they will be ready.
